“Heard Street Judas is out with hurt feelings?” Colby Covington trolls Jorge Masvidal for pulling out of UFC 269

Colby Covington takes a jibe at Jorge Masvidal

Colby Covington is not letting his old friend Jorge Masvidal pull out of the Leon Edwards fight slide that easy. “Chaos” was quick to take a jibe at “Gamebred” after he was forced to pull out from his much-anticipated fight at UFC 269.

Jorge Masvidal vs Leon Edwards was a fight that was much hyped by the fans and the MMA media given the history between the two welterweight fighters. Jorge and Leon were all set to settle their beef at the T-Mobile Arena on December 12 only for Gamebred to be forced out of the fight due to an injury. With only one month left for the fight, Edwards is now left hanging once again without an opponent.

Apart from dealing with the news of the injury, Masvidal also has to deal with the taunting from his former training partner Colby “Chaos” Covington. Colby being the menace he is, does not rest from taking shots at his colleagues in the welterweight division. Covington took to Twitter to troll Masvidal for pulling out from UFC 269. “Heard Street Judas The Fragile Guy Is Out With Hurt Feelings…. WHO Could’ve Predicted That?!” wrote Colby.

Covington is coming off a commendable performance against his bitter rival Kamaru Usman in a rematch at UFC 268. The #1 ranked welterweight fighter took on Usman and went the distance in a five-round barn burner of a fight. The fighter lost via unanimous decision and has not lost hope in achieving the gold. Covington came out with courage and had already eyed his next fight.

Colby called out Jorge Masvidal for his next fight and said the two should settle their beef inside that octagon. The fighter even predicted that Masvidal would pull out from his fight against Leon Edwards. According to Colby, the most heated rivalry right now in the UFC is him and “Street Judas” Masvidal.
