UFC 279 had to be one of the weirdest and confusing pay-per-view. event in UFC history. Initially, the main event was between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev but after suffering weight issues, Chimaev had to fight Kevin Holland. Simultaneously, Diaz was given to Tony Ferguson to fight in the new main event.
Everything turned out great and fight fans were more satisfied with it than the original event.

The fighter was initially scheduled to fight Ferguson but UFC asked Jingliang to fight Daniel Rodriguez who was 10 lbs heavier. But that didn’t affect Jingliang’s decision who was ready to fight and the fight fans truly liked that thing.
