“He makes fun of the homeless,” Aljamain Sterling bashes rival Petr Yan for being a bad person outside the octagon

Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan

Seems like the current bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is recovering really well since his injury. The “Funk Master” can’t wait to shut “stupid” Petr Yan after their controversial bout.

Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan came head to head at UFC 259 in a three-title fight card. The Funk Master created history by becoming the first-ever UFC champion to win via DQ. Since then Yan and Sterling have been going at each other verbally and on social media. Aljo was accused of exaggerating his injury after Yan illegally knee’d him. Things then became very personal after Yan filmed a homeless man and called him Aljamain in the video.

Recently at UFC 264, Aljamain came out to the press to have a fun conversation. “He’s a sh*t talker – he’s not a good dude,” Sterling said about Yan. “F*ck that guy. He’s not a good guy. I don’t think he’s a good person. The guy makes fun of homeless people. He’s not a good guy.”

“I don’t hate anybody. At the end of the day, we’re all chasing the same dream. But when it comes to people I would like to hang out with and I wouldn’t mind sharing a beer with, I think he’s a pretty sh*tty person outside of the sport, and I think his character speaks volumes about who he is as a person and as an individual,” said Aljamain in his interaction with the press.

Aljamain is tired of hearing that he won the title by fluke. The champion is ready to come back and prove people wrong. “For me, I know what it’s like to be at the bottom, and I’ve worked super hard to get to this position, so for him to do that to other people who he doesn’t know, he can go f*ck himself.”
