The lioness was the betting favorite in almost all of her bouts, which speaks volumes about her performance. Nunes has the highest career earnings amongst female fighters and retired at the top of her game at UFC 289.

Amanda Nunes has fought some of the fiercest opponents since her UFC debut. She has outclassed her opponents many times and dominated most of her fights. Amanda Nunes has competed in 28 professional MMA bouts. She lost her MMA debut in the first round of her bout via an armbar. After that, the lioness went on to rack up several wins via first-round knockouts. Out of her five losses, two came from her days before being signed by UFC. She also lost to Alexis Davis via TKO during her fight in Strikeforce which was later included in her UFC record.

  • She has the most consecutive wins in women’s UFC history with 12 wins. She also holds the record for most wins in UFC with 16 wins and has the most knockouts in women’s bantamweight history. Although Nunes did not have an undefeated record she made sure she set the bar high for everyone.
  • Along with an impressive winning streak, Nunes also holds the record for most PPV buys for a female-headlined event. She sold around 1.2 million PPVs for her bout against Meisha Tate while also becoming a champion during the fight. She has won the female fighter of the Year award from many publications several times and was the third double champion in UFC.
