Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen have been on-court and off-court foes for an extended period of time. From declining to fight Sonnen to being paired opposite to Sonnen himself, as a coach in the Ultimate Fighter, their rivalry has had it all. Until this day, the pair often feud online on social media.

More recently, Jon Jones blocked Sonnen on Twitter, and Uncle Chael wasted no time in sharing the screenshot of the same, which bore the info that he had been blocked by Jones. Sonnen then mocked Jones, calling him a coward and proclaiming himself as the champion, in typical Uncle Chael fashion.

Sonnen tweeted, “And the Tap comes at 8:43, the WINNER by SUBMISSION (COWARDICE), and STILL UNDEFEATED, the BAD GUY, CHAAAAEEELLLL SONNNNNENNNNN!!!”

Jon Jones is currently in the heavyweight division of the UFC. He still hasn’t made his debut, despite moving to the division almost a year ago. Due to a payment issue with UFC President Dana White, a fight against heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and ‘Bones’ has been shelved probably.

Chael Sonnen, on the other hand, has become a YouTuber. The current MMA analyst posts videos, pretty regularly and has great clicks on his videos.

There is not a chance that Jones and Sonnen will fight again. However, Jones must remember that he would be taking on arguably the greatest trash-talker of time if he goes for a social media battle.
