UFC megastar Conor McGregor filed with physical assault charges for attacking Italian DJ

Conor McGregor
Former 2-division UFC Champion Conor McGregor is going to have a history of legal proceedings if things keep on falling apart like they are right now. A few days after an incident in Rome where McGregor was allegedly accused of punching Italian DJ Francesco Fachhinetti, the charges of physical assault have officially proceeded against McGregor. The reason for the act or the defence from McGregor’s side hasn’t been initiated yet.
McGregor has been inactive from the fighting scene since his first-round loss to lightweight rival Dustin Poirier where McGregor broke his shin bone from a steep kick that actually missed and connected McGregor’s shin with Poirier’s elbow. Since then, he kept himself happening in the media outlets.
McGregor was seen going into a Twitter beef with many of the UFC’s active and retired fighters. Then he escalated with his altercation with rapper Machine Gun Kelly where he was seen being stopped but managed to throw some drink over the rapper from the distance.
More on the charges pressed against Conor McGregor for the latest incident

According to CNN, the Carabinieri Police in Mariano Comasco confirmed that Facchinetti and his attorney pressed charges on Tuesday. The alleged altercation took place at a luxury hotel in Rome after Facchinetti claims that he was part of a group that Conor McGregor invited to a party that night.
McGregor reportedly lashed out when the group wanted to leave the party and that’s when Facchinetti claims that he was assaulted with punches to the nose and mouth. Facchinetti claims he suffered a concussion as a result of the alleged assault and that’s why he ultimately decided to press charges after talking to his wife and friends about the incident. “He is dangerous,” Facchinetti told CNN. “He needs to be stopped.”

Facchinetti added that he hopes security footage from the St. Regis Rome hotel where the alleged incident took place will back up his claims about the assault. Representatives from St. Regis Rome told CNN that the hotel would fully comply with the police investigation and all security camera footage has been shared with authorities.
Meanwhile UFC President Dana White is not completely aware of what exactly happened though he is aware that Conor McGregor is involved in some unlikely situation. But he is yet to know the complete details of the incident and therefore explicitly refused to add any comments to the situation. What worse is left to happen for Conor McGregor, we wish to not witness it anymore as this seems to tarnish his legacy slowly but profoundly.
