Colby Covington on Dustin Poirier wife
Colby Covington was watching happily as Dustin Poirier recently fought against Charles Oliveira in the UFC 269 for the lightweight division title. He lost the fight by TKO when Oliviera latched onto his back for a rear-naked chokehold and Poirier couldn’t hold on for much longer and tap out.
The former training partner turned foes are now bitter rivals, Covington has called out Poirier on a number of occasions, and he even challenged him to fight at the welterweight division. According to Covington, Dustin weighs more than him during normal days, and he cuts all that weight because he knows he can’t hang with the big guys.
During his recent interview The Schmo, he once again called out Dustin, but this time in a rather demeaning way, he said, “The tap trophy goes to Dustin Soirier, Louisiana swamp trash, congratulations Dustin you tapped, I mean there was a lot of great taps this year but the way you quit and put your head on the mat and got tapped out like a little bi**ch was amazing.“

Dustin and Covington’s rivalry goes way back, and it all started when Colby picked Khabib Nurmagomedov to beat Poirier in their fight, Dustin was not happy with this comment, and he said he would drop Colby at the spot if he ever sees him. Colby touched down on this comment and said.
“All that reckless talk about you saying it was on sit, you know this and that, name the site b**ch let’s do this man, bring your Jezebel wife bring that little kid you use as a prop and let’s run this, stop scamming people with your fake charity and let’s fight man you got to be held accountable. But, you know, you’ve always came up short in the big moment Dustin Soirier so here’s your opportunity, you get a championship from Colby “Chaos” Covington for the year-end award for the tap award.
