Jon Jones is undoubtedly the biggest name on the current UFC roster. The heavyweight champion recently defended his title at UFC 309, which was one of the biggest grossing events in 2024. However, for Jones, fighting isn’t the only way to get into the headlines.
Jones recently went live on Instagram which caught the attention of many fans. In the short and disturbing video, ‘Bones’ was heard talking about killing someone. UFC commentators Michael Bisping and Paul Felder recently spoke about the bizarre encounter. According to Felder, the video doesn’t put Jones in a good light.
We all have our own vices and our own shi* in our lives. What is wrong with your brain when you are Jon Jones and you are that elite level.

Bisping seconded Felder’s opinion and shared a similar sentiment to the incident. Being British, the ‘Count’ made sure to promote the potential title between Jones and the interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall. For many fight fans as well as CEO Dana White, the heavyweight title unification is the biggest fight to be made.
Aspinall has been waiting for this title opportunity for a long time. However, ‘Bones’ doesn’t necessarily have an interest in fighting the young and hungry challenger. Many experts think that the UFC GOAT is just pricing itself out to get more money from the promotion. It remains to be seen if the American fighter can put his trouble aside and face Aspinall in a superfight.
UFC Hall of Famer talks about Jon Jones’s GOAT status
Jon Jones is often regarded as the GOAT of UFC due to his dominance, longevity, and unparalleled skill set. He became the youngest UFC champion at 23, and defended his title a record eight consecutive times at the light heavyweight class. He has beaten multiple former champions, including Daniel Cormier, Glover Teixeira, Mauricio Rua, and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, just to name a few.

His striking, wrestling, and fight IQ make him one of the most well-rounded fighters ever, solidifying his legacy as the greatest. The American fighter further shocked everyone by moving up the heavyweight division and becoming the champion. In a recent interview, MMA legend, Tito Ortiz, talked about the fighter in detail.
Jon Jones is probably someone who is so skilled in all areas. He his long, big, strong….Jon Jones is the greatest ever to grace the octagon.

Jones is currently on his last stint as a professional fighter, and remains quite aware of the dangers in MMA. ‘Bones’ has also started his Hollywood career and wants to continue it further. Going forward, it would be interesting to see how things turn out for Jones’s next fight.
