The Coronavirus pandemic which began in early 2020 has been strutting its stuff until today. However, things are slowly getting back to normal following worldwide vaccination and a few safety norms. The United States, especially is beginning to open completely.

Although, the usage of vaccines and following safety reforms reduce the risk of the disease, people are still hesitant to get back to work in full swing. The reason? The new Delta variant that is believed to be more lethal than the previous variants of the virus, has caused fear amongst the vast majority of the people.

However, UFC President Dana White is having none of that. White is one of the very few businessmen who had a profitable pandemic. He braved the pandemic, albeit not recklessly, and hosted in areas like Dubai where it is safe when the pandemic was at its peak. Now, the UFC is back in the United States with crowds allowed.

In a recent interview with Fox News, Dana White claimed that he is no slouch and would run over everyone who has been slowing down due to the pandemic.

Dana White was quoted as saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s blowing my mind. But you know what, everybody that’s slowing down, everybody that is afraid or whatever their reason is for not wanting to get back to work, not wanting to run their business, not wanting to get back to normal in full capacity… I’ll run you all over. I’ll run you over. No problem.” [via Bloody Elbow]

He then continued, “There’s never been more opportunity out there than there is right now. I keep hearing about restaurants that can’t open all the way because they can’t get people to come into work. You can’t get an Uber because nobody wants to go back and drive Uber. It’s a very weird time in this country right now and people need to get back to work and things need to get back to normal as soon as possible.” [via Bloody Elbow]

The UFC is well into the seventh month of its calendar year. All the events hosted so far have been a massive hit, with little to no effect from the pangs of the pandemic. UFC Vegas 32 will be the next event; it takes place this weekend and is headlined by a high-voltage clash between Cory Sandhagen and TJ Dillashaw.
