UFC President Dana White was one of the few people who made headlines defending Tiger Woods during his infamous infidelity scandal. The famous golf player was involved in a series of affairs with many women during his marriage with his wife Elin Nordegren. White, who is known for speaking his mind, came to Tiger’s aid despite people scrutinizing Woods.
While Tiger Woods is no stranger to controversies, his infidelity scandal did the most damage to his personal and professional life. Tiger Woods became the centre of attention for all media outlets after his affairs came to light in 2009. Woods was married to Elin Nordegren for five years before his affair with New York nightclub manager Rachel Uchitel was revealed. This, however, was only the start of Tiger’s long list of extramarital partners. Over a few months many models, waitress and several p*rnstars revealed their tryst with Woods. Due to this Woods saw his life falling apart and lost numerous endorsements and sponsorship deals as well.
Despite all this, UFC President Dana White jumped to Tiger’s defence during an interview at UFC 107. “It is just one of these things, where you love to build people up and then tear them down. Guy made a mistake, leave tiger alone man, leave him alone, let him, what he is doing at home and elsewhere is nobody’s business. You wanna talk about when he is playing golf next, what kind of training regiment he is following. That’s all the stuff you wanna talk about, the stuff is going on with him is bulls**t,” said White in his interview.
While Tiger’s relationship with his wife is long over, he remains close to his children. Tiger’s son Charlie is also following in his father’s footsteps and has become a promising prospect in the world of golfing.
