The reigning UFC Flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo is going to settle the score against Brandon Moreno in the co-main event of UFC 263. Figueiredo won the Flyweight title last year by defeating Joseph Benavidez and after that, he defended it against Alex Perez at UFC 255.

Deiveson Figueiredo immediately took the opportunity to defend his title once again at UFC 256 against Brandon Moreno. This fight ended as a majority draw which tends to be settled this Saturday.

After successfully defending his title at UFC 263, Figueiredo is aiming for bigger fights in his career next. This includes moving to Bantamweight and fighting for the second title as well.

During the UFC 263 press conference, while addressing to Dana White, ‘Dues De Guerra’ says, “I’m always looking for the big fights and I want the boss to listen to this one, Cause I want him to give me the chance to move up [a weight class]. Cause I want to get that belt.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

Brandon Moreno pushed Deiveson Figueiredo to his limit in their first faceoff. But according to Figueiredo that was more because of his personal issues rather than Moreno putting on his career-best performance.

Figueiredo says, “I was sick in the first fight, I wasn’t 100 percent. I was actually fighting at 30 percent but now I’m 100 percent and I’m going to give my all and you’re going to see what it’s all about.”

Considering the reputation, ‘Dues De Guerra’ has built up in these years as the most lethal finisher in the Flyweight division, he would want to do the same in this fight too.

Talking to Moreno, he says, “First of all, he talks a lot and I’m going to shut him up because I’m going to knock him out in the first round. I’m going to knock you out.” {H/T MMA Fighting}

The first meeting between both of them brought the fans to the edges of their seats and they are hoping to see something similar in this fight too.
