“He says a lot of sh*t,” Dustin Poirier intends to attend some unfinished business with Conor McGregor
Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor
Dustin Poirier is going to face the lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira at the main event of UFC 269. Poirier earned the spot of number one contender after beating Conor McGregor twice earlier this year. Even though Conor is out from action because of his leg injury, he keeps on talking trash about Dustin and his family, and Dustin isn’t paying attention to him.
Conor broke his foot in his third fight against Dustin, and soon after the incident, he called out Dustin’s wife and even passed some remarks on his daughter. Dustin handled them pretty well, and he is now completely focused on facing the lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira.
Many experts believe Dustin will get it done against Oliveira, and fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming the undisputed UFC champion, he was asked about Conor in a recent interview with the MMA Junkie, Dustin said, “As far as right now, for sure, it’s in the past. I’m not even thinking about that. But he says a lot of sh*t. Keep talking.”
“I will be back and it will be settled,” Conor McGregor warns Dustin Poirier to be ready in 2022 for a final fight
The Irishman is not satisfied with the way their trilogy ended and demands another final fight in 2022 with the current title contender. A fan asked Conor if he felt like he won that third fight and Conor replied, “His head was sorer, my leg was sorer. I feel good on that. Not to say his leg wasn’t busted either tho. I had that thigh well minced. I feel it’s just simply not settled yet. Is the fairest response I can give.”
Conor has refused to admit that Dustin got the better of his in the third fight and still argues with MMA fans on Twitter. The fighter believes Poirier was awarded a victory solely because Conor’s leg was compromised for which his opponent had nothing to do, he highlighted the key moments from the fight, he said, “Really nasty elbows and upkicks for sure. That or maybe a really annoying blue bottle was around him after the fight, lol. Make no mistake they are not looking forward to what is coming. I will be back and it will be settled. Once and for all.”
