Gilbert Burns goes on a callout spree: Picks a bone with Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, and Leon Edwards on Twitter

Gilbert Burns is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson at the recently concluded UFC 264. The Brazilian had little trouble from the karate master, except in the later rounds, as he cemented his position as the number 2 ranked welterweight contender.
More recently, ‘Durinho’ went on a callout spree, calling out the likes of Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards. He targeted Diaz particularly, bringing up his MMA record, posting pictures of him getting beaten up and whatnot. His callouts of Masvidal and Edwards weren’t that aggressive as his callout of ‘The Stockton Slugger.’
‘Let’s see if Jorge wants’ – Gilbert Burns
Gilbert Burns began his callouts with the Tweet, “Looks like he don’t want no smoke. I don’t blame him! Good lucky waiting! Let’s see if Jorge wants!“
Since there wasn’t any reply, Durinho tweeted once again: “What’s up @GamebredFighter what you doing October or November?“
He then turned his attention towards Leon Edwards.
‘Say something now” – Gilbert Burns to Nate Diaz
That’s when he shifted his attention towards Nate Diaz. Burns wrote, “And where you at @NateDiaz209 talk all that shit. Say something now!”
Posting an image of an old Diaz tweet, Burns wrote, “Talk all that shit @NateDiaz209 do something now! Real gangster don’t talk about it they be about it.”
Diaz then replied saying that he would fight guys who knocked him out (Kamaru Usman probably), rather than fighting him. Diaz’s tweet read, “I’d rather fight the guy who knocked you guys out.”
Burns then replied, “That’s what I thought @NateDiaz209 you don’t want no smoke! So don’t say my name anymore bitch ass fake gangster! So many losses you have already! And your teammates that I already beat knows what I would do to you! Keep playing smart and save.”
He didn’t stop there. “Nate Freaking smart he knows I Would destroy him anywhere the fight goes!”, Burns tweeted.
Burns then took a jibe at Diaz’s MMA record tweeting, “Levels to the losses. So many. Keep the good work @NateDiaz209.”
He then posted pictures of Diaz getting beat up in various fights, while also tweeting, “That’s the real gangster @NateDiaz209.”
What are your thoughts on this? Who do you think Burns should fight next?
