“Helped me the most mentally”- Tom Aspinall thanks Tyson Fury for saving his career

Tom Aspinall aspires to be the next heavyweight champion and he thanks Tyson Fury for putting him back on the right track.
Tom Aspinall is set to fight Alexander Volkov in the UFC London main event. Currently Tom has a record of 4-0 and if Tom Aspinall were to win against Volkov it would put him one step closer to his goal.
In a press conference held at media day, Tom opens about his training session with former two time Heavyweight Champion, Tyson “Frillian Whyte-knickers” Fury.
Aspinall said,“I think he’s helped me the most mentally.”
“Obviously, I improved a lot. My skill set improved, my boxing improved, definitely. It brought me a long way skill-wise. But more so mentally. If he ever gets a watch of this, ‘Thank you.’ I’ve never actually had the chance to thank him for it. He has completely changed my career and the outlook of what I’ve got on combat and fighting.”
“Without him I wouldn’t be where I am right now because my mentality changed completely since I trained with him. It was quite a long time ago now, I was in my early 20s, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to carry on with this sport or box or maybe stop fighting altogether. I didn’t know what I wanted to do and yeah, he just completely changed my whole outlook on everything so I appreciate it.”
Tom Aspinall to use knowledge gained from Tyson Fury against Alexander Volkov
Tom , UFC’s hottest heavyweight prospect is set to fight Alexander Volkov at the main event of UFC Fight Night:London. However, Tom has hometown advantage.
Volkov comes into the fight with a record of 3-1 with a loss against Ciryl Gane, the current interim heavyweight champion.Tom on the other hand is on a 4 fight win streak all having ended through finishes.
Aspinall has expressed that he shall use the wisdom passed down by the Gypsy King to take down opponent Alexander Volkov.
