Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury are ready to fight each other
Great news for fight fans as a super-fight might be brewing. UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury are down for a cross-promotional super fight.
Two of the heaviest hitters in the world are ready to face each other inside the ring. 2022 has just started and an interesting fight might be in the making. Following world boxing champion Tyson Fury’s call-out, Ngannou has not hesitated one bit to agree for the super fight. However, “The Predator” has one condition.
Fury earlier posted a tweet calling out UFC President Dana White and heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, suggesting a fight. “Who would like to see me fight this beast boxing rules ufc gloves?” wrote the Gypsy King. There was no way that this call-out was not reaching the ears of Ngannou. And soon enough the African champ replied with, “How about MMA rules with boxing gloves? I can do you that favor.”

Tyson is not one to back down from challenges, just like Ngannou. “you want to come into to my world calling me & wilder out to a boxing match. what i can guarantee you would be knocked out & also paid your highest purse to be so! so have a think,” wrote Fury to Ngannou’s condition. Francis has already voiced out his problem with the UFC’s poor fighter’s pay compared to boxing.
Needless to say, Ngannou was not going to back down from an opportunity to earn the biggest purse in his fighting career. However, Francis is scheduled to fight his former teammate Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 for a heavyweight title unifier in January 2022. Similarly, Tyson has to defend his heavyweight belt against Dillian Whyte in the near future.
“After I handle business on Jan. 22 I’ll fight you under any special ruleset you want. In a ring, an octagon, or a phone booth,” said Ngannou. If a fight between these two monsters does happen, who do you think wins the fight?
