If there’s one thing that Israel Adesanya is famous for, other than being the UFC middleweight champion, is his kicks which boast devastating and lethal power.

Formerly a kickboxer, Adesanya competed in the kickboxing tournament ‘King in the Ring‘ winning it three times and also winning the 2016 Glory Middleweight Contender Tournament.

The Nigerian-born New Zealand professional mixed martial artist fighting style involves the usage of a variety of kicks. He loves to keep his opponent at a distance while also searching for a way to achieve a knockout.

But in case you forgot just how dangerous his kicks can be, watch the video below to see just how damaging Adesanya can be with a single strike.

It seems that ‘The Last Stylebender’ was making a public appearance for Australian streetwear brand ‘Culture Kings‘ and while at an event, he was asked to show off his kicks and break the ‘Dragon punch’ record.

He shattered the high score with a roundhouse kick in his first attempt at the punching back and on his second attempt he landed a roundhouse kick so hard that the bag snapped.

Talk about lethal.

Israel Adesanya will be fighting Robert Whittaker in their sequel bout at UFC 271 on February 12th after the former last fought and beat Whittaker by 2nd round knockout in their first match.

Adesanya has gone on to defend his title three times while Whittaker put himself back in contention for a title shot by beating three of the best in the middleweight division.

Adesanya said that he’s in an even better shape and more motivated than their first fight in a video that he uploaded on his YouTube channel saying, “This is the best I’ve ever come into a camp in shape, and I’m not going out of shape I promise you that. I have a point to prove, to myself but just also to, you know those people, I just want to shut them the f*** up. I mean the motivation for me is he’s not making excuses like Vettori or Costa.”

He’s accepted his loss. He finally admitted that I was in his head and he was emotional and I was like yeah, you finally admitted what I was saying this whole f**king time. So that makes me take him seriously like he’s accepted that. So, it makes me take him seriously that okay, he’s got a point to prove.”
