Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley is inching closer. The fight will be taking place on the 30th of August at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers. It also marks the boxing debut of the newly released UFC star Tyron Woodley. Paul, on the other hand, is into the fourth fight of his career. He is coming off a win over Ben Askren.

In a recent interview with SkySports, Jake Paul hit out at Tommy Fury, the half-brother of Tyson Fury. The pair have been involved in multiple callouts in recent times. Speaking in an interview with SkySports, Paul stated that he didn’t really know how Fury got famous, before going on to say that he wasn’t a real fighter.

Paul was quoted as saying, “If he can win, it’s a massive fight. He comes from a legendary family name and background and the social media – I don’t really know how he got famous. I think he did reality shows. It could potentially lead to a path where you see Jake Paul versus Tommy Fury.” [via SkySports]

He continued, “It sounds like someone handed him a script for him to read off, ‘I’m going to break every bone in his face!’ He’s got nothing real to say – ‘You crossed the line, buddy!’ This isn’t sixth grade. This is the fight business, this is the boxing business. He boxes because he was told to do so by his dad. He doesn’t have that real heart, that real fighter inside of him.” [via SkySports]

Tommy Fury, is currently 6-0 in his boxing career. He is coming off a win over Jordan Grant on the 5th of June, 2021. Although, Fury has hit out at Paul for fighting non-boxers, Fury himself doesn’t boast an impressive record. He will be taking on Anthony Taylor, on the same venue and date Paul fights Woodley.

Paul, on the other hand, is 3-0 in his boxing career. He has wins over YouTuber AnesonGib, Basketballer Nate Robinson and more recently Ben Askren. Although he has knocked out all three of them, he will be wary of the power and danger Tyron Woodley possesses.
