Joe Rogan hosts one of the most famous podcasts in the world, the Joe Rogan Experience. Comedian Moshe Kasher was a recent guest on the podcast. It was on this podcast that Rogan went off at Vince McMahon for the recent sexual misconduct allegations.

Kasher is a child of deaf parents, and thus, they had an interesting talk about the history of sign language. Due to the wide variety of people on his podcast, Rogan knows various topics. However, sign language for the deaf was something Rogan did not know much about. On the podcast, Kasher educated Rogan about the history of the American School for the Deaf. This is what he said.

He took the star professor, Laurent Clerc, was his name. Thomas Gallaudet was the name of the American who came over and saw Laurent Clerc. He said, "Move to America with me, and let's go replicate this in America." So, Thomas Gallaudet says yes, they get on a boat, they sail to America. By the time they landed, Thomas Gallaudet knew rudimentary sign, and Laurent Clerc, who was like a f*cking genius, knew, basically, had been taught English. And they set up the first school for the deaf in America.

Kasher explained that Laurent Clerc was an immensely talented person, which was not a surprise. Rogan then listened to the story of Kasher, who had an unconventional journey as a hearing son of deaf parents.

Jewish comedian discuss anti-semitism on Joe Rogan Experience

Moshe Kasher was a recent guest on JRE. He was also the guest on episode 943 of the podcast. At the time, anti-semitism was the main topic of discussion as Kasher is Jewish. The discussion now has significance due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and also the incident of Jews in underground tunnels in New York.

Nonetheless, in episode 943 of the podcast, Kasher talked about the rise in anti-semitism at the time. He saw a rise in anti-semitism, which Rogan seconded. Kasher further stated that it has been the case even for the most assimilated Jews, like the German Jews. Rogan also chimed in as he talked about the story of Fritz Haber, a Jewish scientist. He was the creator of the gas used during the Holocaust.

Rogan and Kasher also talked about the disproportionate number of Jewish intellectuals. Kasher explained that the Jews were always illiterate, even during the Dark Ages. Rogan found it to be true as he knew that there were a lot of Nobel laureates who were Jewish.
