Joe Rogan is one of the most important non-fighter personalities in MMA. His expertise and knowledge of combat sports enabled him to become the leading voice of the UFC. Dana White has repeatedly mentioned that Rogan played a crucial role in developing the UFC brand. During his time as a commentator, he had come across Brock Lesnar on multiple occasions. In an episode on his podcast, he talked about the superhuman known as Brock Lesnar.

Joe Rogan said, “When you meet Brock Lesnar, you’re like, what the f**k are you? I had a joke about Brock Lesnar. I’m not worried that Brock Lesnar would f**k me. I’m worried, he would use me as a condom to f**k something way bigger.” Rogan commented about Lesnar’s size when the guests on the podcast asked about his interaction with bigger men.

Brock Lesnar started competing in the UFC in 2008. He lost his debut against Frank Mir at UFC 81. However, he bounced back by defeating Heath Herring at UFC 87. He secured a title shot against Randy Couture with the win over Herring. Lesnar knocked out Couture to win the UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 91. Rogan was the leading commentary voice of the UFC at that time.

A year later, Lesnar would be the main event attraction of the monumental UFC 100 PPV. He rematched Mir in the main event to defend his heavyweight title. Lesnar smashed Mir for most of the fight and got a stoppage victory in the second round. After the fight, Lesnar put on an iconic post-fight speech alongside Joe Rogan, where he took shots at the controversial beer company Bud Light.

Joe Rogan once pronounced Brock Lesnar’s name wrong

In 2007, after Brock Lesnar signed with the UFC, Joe Rogan interviewed him. At the time, Lesnar was a famous WWE wrestler who held the WWE championship on multiple occasions. Rogan proceeded to mispronounce Lesnar’s name.

Rogan accidentally mentioned Lesnar as “Brock Larson.” Lesnar proceeded to strangle Rogan for the mistake jokingly. It was a hilarious interaction between Lesnar and Rogan, and the duo continued these hilarious interactions during Lesnar’s time in the UFC.

After a victory, Lesnar put his mouthpiece in Rogan’s pocket. Lesnar knows how to entertain the fans. In 2018, Lesnar returned at UFC 226 a decade later and cut a fantastic promo against Daniel Cormier. In the video clip, fight fans saw the happy reaction on Rogan’s face.
