“This shows who you are inside, how dirty you are,” Khabib Nurmagomedov reacts to Conor McGregor’s controversial tweet about his father

The former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor was recently heavily criticized for his tweet towards Khabib Nurmagomedov’s dead father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov who died because of the COVID-19 complications last year.
‘The Notorious’ mocked Khabib’s father and later deleted that tweet, he issued no apology for this nor did the UFC president Dana White issue a statement over this. Although, Khabib Nurmagomedov believes Conor McGregor was out of his mind when he tweeted this and this shows his real character.
In his latest interview with the boxing legend, Mike Tyson, Khabib says, “When he talked about this, only evil can talk about your father, like wife, kids, religion, If you’re a normal human, you’re never going to talk about this stuff.”
“For me, I think he posted this tweet [when he had] drunk too much or [had done] something. He always delete these tweets. When he become normal, [he looked at his phone] and said, ‘Oh, what I did.’ Then he delete. This is my opinion, what he does all the time.”
Conor McGregor was criticized by many UFC fighters, the former two-division champion, Daniel Cormier also slammed him for this comment. Even Mike Tyson claimed that there are no boundaries of trash talk in the fight games, but this time McGregor hit Khabib with a really cheap shot.
Khabib Nurmagomedov added, “When someone is not with us, he is not even alive, this shows you what you have inside, this shows, like, how dirty you are, “When you are one of the best in the world, and you come and you punch someone like 70 years old, like an old man [in a pub], this shows your heart.”
“This shows who you are inside, how dirty you are. When you have parents and you have kids, how can you show yourself like this? I don’t understand why his close people don’t tell him, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’” {H/T MMA Fighting}
Khabib Nurmagomedov also talked about his mental state before his fight against Conor McGregor
The match between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor at UFC 229 was one of the biggest matches in UFC history and all the trash talk Conor did before this fight didn’t even affect Khabib a little bit.
Talking about his mental state before facing ‘The Notorious’ Khabib says, “I remember when I was supposed to fight with him, coach told me, ‘Hey, you have to focus,’ And I was like, ‘I am focused.’ He was like, ‘You call home? You call friends?’ No, this is normal for me.”
“I said, ‘Coach, please, don’t worry. Everything is good. I am good, I’m relaxed, and when the time comes, I’m going to show you.’” Khabib, indeed showed Conor and the world why he is the best lightweight fighter in UFC history by finishing Conor McGregor by a submission.
All Conor’s trash talk flew away when he attempted the submission and the famous phrase ‘just business’ came in. In the end, Khabib Nurmagomedov just said that no matter how much Conor tries, these things aren’t going to affect him.
Khabib concluded, “I think one of the biggest reasons why I became champion, I think this was about my mental part, how I can control my emotions, I think I can control anything. Anything happens with me in the world, I can control this. I can handle this.” {H/T MMA Fighting}
