Khabib Nurmagomedov might have retired from the sport of MMA, but he constantly gets linked with one fight or the other. First it was his fight with GSP that was doing the rounds. And now, the latest news is that Khabib was offered a whopping $100 million to fight Floyd Mayweather very recently.

Speaking in Mike Tyson’s recent episode of Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Khabib’s manager and Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz revealed that the Eagle was offered a staggering 100 million USD to fight the boxing great. However, he pointed out the fact that Khabib has always been a man of his word, and hence said “NO”, to the offer.

Abdelaziz was quoted as saying, “Khabib got offered $100 million after he’s retired to fight Floyd Mayweather. $100 million!” [via BloodyElbow]

He continued, “You can ask Floyd, you can ask everybody, and Khabib said, ‘No. I’m retired. I told my mother I’m retired. I’m gonna keep my word to my mother. If my mother told me to fight again, maybe I will. But right now, she told me not to fight.’” [via BloodyElbow]

Was there even a question? This is something which is totally unsurprising. And Mayweather is currently scheduled to face Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match on the 6th of June. It will be taking place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

No amount of money would ever entice Khabib Nurmagomedov!

Khabib is a man who loves the sport of MMA. He plays the sport for the passion he has, and never for the money. No amount of cash would ever entice him to comeback. He would never ever break his mother’s word – something which is valued immensely in the religion of Islam.

There are few things certain in life – Death, Taxes and Khabib never coming out of retirement!
