“F*cking show up”- Luke Rockhold is pissed off at Paulo Costa for avoiding a fight against him
Luke Rockhold on Paulo Costa
Looks like the former UFC Middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold has been itching to make a comeback, but every time he makes a move, something unfortunate happens and the fight gets canceled. Rockhold was booked to face Sean Strickland in a Middleweight contest at UFC 268 but he pulled out his name due to an injury.
With this one, he was stepping inside the Octagon after more than two years but unfortunately, now he has to wait for some more time. He’s been picking up beef with the former title challenger, Paulo Costa, and the back and forth between these two has been nothing but amazing.
Costa has been pretty weird, to say the least after his loss against Israel Adesanya. He was supposed to face Marvin Vettori in a middleweight contest, but he showed up ridiculously overweight, and blatantly refused to do anything about it. He’s been dropping weird Tweets ever since, and the UFC isn’t so keen on getting him back inside the octagon as well.
“It’s like, you don’t want to make weight”- Luke Rockhold blasts Paulo Costa for missing the weight against Marvin Vettori
Rockhold accused Costa of using steroids, and he’s been trying so hard to get a fight booked against him. According to Rockhold, Costa has been making up excuses to avoid this fight. “He’s making excuses left and right,” Rockhold said in an interview with The MMA Hour. “He’s missed weight twice for that fight and he’s making excuses on not contractually agreeing to this fight because of the weight issues they’re placing upon him. Within all these rules, it’s like, you don’t want to make weight. You just want to make excuses.”
“You’re a f*cking b*tch when it comes down to it. And your steroids aren’t working anymore, and you got caught up. You’re looking for a way out. He’s always needed assistance in whatever ways. It’s obvious. So f*cking show up. Show up and show out. Let’s f*cking go,” Rockhold concluded.
