It certainly looked like an imitation of Leon Edwards’ kick against Kamaru Usman. The referee rushed in and stopped the fight and ultimately announced Alex Caceres the winner via first-round TKO.

After getting a spectacular TKO victory against Julian Erosa at UFC Vegas 66, Alex Caceres was interviewed by commentator Paul Felder. When asked about the fight, Caceres gave a very positive and spiritual reaction. The fighter made a speech about how every human is the same and how all of them are on a journey.
He said: “I feel good. I feel the same way as I’m coming in. I wanna feel this way even if I lose. It’s all a journey you know. We are all one, we are all free, and we are all human. There is no separation and I just realized that.”
The speech caught Felder off guard who casually asked if that thought struck Caceres right then, “Just now?”. Caceres gave an affirmative smile and said, “Everyday.” A fight and finish like that will definitely help Caceres to gain more fans. The featherweight division always delivers give some of the most explosive fights on the card and this time it was no different.
