UFC Featherweight Champion, Alexander Volkanovski, recently met NFL superstar, Tom Brady. The two spent time together and Volkanovski had some good things to say about the American Football star. Here is what happened:

Alexander Volkanovski recently did an interview with Megan Anderson on ESPN. There he talked about his interaction with Tom Brady back in January.

I was able to go there and really listen to him talk about work ethic, and just what makes him tick. Little things to be a champion, what it takes to be a champion. I did definitely see some things that I could relate to in the way his mindset was and mentality which is obviously awesome to see.

Tom Brady is an American football quarterback. He won three NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards and five Super Bowl MVP titles. Brady holds the record for the most Super Bowl wins by a player, with seven victories out of 10 appearances. He is often regarded as the most successful player in NFL history. He retired from professional football after the end of the 2023 season.

Alexander Volkanovski caught a pass from Tom Brady during Brady’s speaking tour in Melbourne, Australia. The event was called “An Evening with Tom Brady.” It was held earlier this January at Crown Casino in Melbourne. Volkanovski shared the interaction with the NFL legend on social media.

Alexander Volkanovski has recovered from the UFC 294 knockout

During the post-fight press conference at UFC 294, Alexander Volkanovski revealed that Islam Makhachev‘s knockout kick “messed with his head.” He pointed out that he had never experienced a concussion before.

Now, earlier this February, Volkanovski revealed that he has recovered well from Makhachev’s brutal knockout at UFC 294. The former revealed the many concussion protocols he followed, and his team and doctors who have dealt with several such concussions. All this is ahead of Volkanovksi’s much-anticipated showdown against Ilia Topuria.

Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria will fight at UFC 298. The fight will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Volkanovski will defend his UFC featherweight title against the undefeated Topuria. Meanwhile, the latter aims to dominate Volkanovski and has plans to fight Conor McGregor next. It will be interesting to see how this fight will go down at UFC 298.
