Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya might take their rivalry online, as they plan to play video games together. Pereira and Israel Adesanya have given fight fans some of the best action in the middleweight division. Both fighters knew each other before they came to the UFC.

During their time in Glory kickboxing, Pereira and Adesanya have crossed paths. It helped the pair continue their rivalry in the UFC after Pereira made his middleweight debut and went on to challenge Izzy for the title. The Brazilian shocked the world by defeating Izzy at UFC 281 and becoming the new champion.

However, the fighter failed to defend it in the rematch and Izzy came back in style by knocking out Alex Pereira at UFC 287. All this gave fight fans an amazing rivalry and even though Pereira is now fighting at light heavyweight, it is expected that the pair might have their trilogy fight in the future.

Recently, Izzy made a tweet about getting a PS5 ahead of his title defense at UFC 293. Unexpectedly, Pereira was quick to respond to the tweet and asked Izzy to play UFC 5 together. “Yes ! Let’s play online EA5.“

It seems like other than fighting Izzy inside the octagon, Pereira is also interested in fighting online in the recently announced UFC video game, UFC 5. Even though this might just be a joke, fight fans would definitely love to see Izzy and ‘Potan’ against each other in the official game.

Israel Adesanya is going to defend his UFC title for the sixth time in Sydney against Sean Strickland. Going into the fight, Strickland is definitely the fan favorite and fans are expecting an easy fight for Izzy. When asked about the fight with Izzy’s former opponent, Alex Pereira, the Brazilian revealed that Strickland does have a chance.

He said: “Fighting Israel Adesanya is always a hard fight, but he showed that he can be beaten…Sean Strickland, he has a chance. Different game plans are hard. But if anyone has a chance against Adesanya, that’ll be Sean Strickland. But it’s still a hard fight.”

According to the former champion, fighting Adesanya is a tough task but Sean Strickland is the only one who can make a difference. Strickland’s unconventional fighting style might be something that Izzy might not expect and fans will love to see an upset as Izzy has been one of the most dominant champions in recent times.
