An expected but interesting online altercation took place between legendary Paul Heyman and former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor. Heyman in one of McGregor’s tweets mentioned that the Irishman is a Roman Reigns wannabe. Heyman being the advocate of Reigns in WWE, made the tweet to mock McGregor.

The ‘Mystic Mac’ replied immediately by calling out Heyman ‘Grandpa’. The fighter also mentioned that he will show up and break Heyman’s jaw into three pieces. In a recent interview with Ariel Helani, Heyman absolutely destroyed McGregor by asking if the fighter would still be relevant at the age of 57 like Heyman.

He said: “I would like to see if Conor McGregor at 57 is still thriving at the very top of his entire industry. We will see if he’s even relevant at 57. We will see if even lived to 57 with his lifestyle.”  The 57-year-old was absolutely brutal and also called McGregor a ‘little Clown’.

And even if he comes after the wise man, what if I landed a lucky shot? And if he beats me up, who cares I’m a 57-year-old wise man. This is a tough fight for Conor McGregor. He’s funny to me, like a clown,” added Heyman.

Heyman has been in the talk business for years now and specializes in verbal altercations and fans love seeing McGregor and Heyman going against each other.

In the tweet which started the fire between Paul Heyman and Conor McGregor, the fighter posted an edited picture of him holding the UFC title as well as the WWE title together. It was just after the aftermath of WrestleMania 39.

This made fans assume that McGregor was hinting at a WWE debut as it makes a lot of sense. On top of that, now that the UFC and WWE have merged, crossovers like this should be expected. Heyman also has been instigating bad blood between McGregor and Roman Reigns who recently won his fight at WrestleMania 39.
