Khamzat Chimaev gets a fight offer from Belal Muhammad
Belal Muhammad is not a fan of Khamzat Chimaev looking past him. The top-ranked welterweight calls out Chimaev for a title contender fight.
Khamzat Chimaev might not be the champion of the welterweight division but he sure is the most sought name. The fighter from Sweden has made himself a name and is one of the biggest draws in the UFC. With one of the biggest fanbases, Chimaev has risen through the ranks with an extraordinary fight against Gilbert Burns at UFC 273. Following his amazing fight, Chimaev is looking to fight the biggest names on the roster.
Though Khamzat would love for a fight against the champion of the division, “Borz” has been calling out the likes of Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, and Jorge Masvidal recently for a money fight. There is no doubt that any of the above matchups will become a blockbuster hit. However, Belal Muhammad, who has been working his way up to the top of the division, calls for a fight against Chimaev who is now ranked above him for a title contender fight.

Recently, Khamzat posted an edited picture of him with potential opponents Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, and Jorge Masvidal. “Stop picking on guys who don’t want to fight you .. only two fighters in the top 5 that haven’t fought Kamaru winner gets next. @danawhite@seanshelby“ wrote Belal responding to Khamzat’s tweet.
Belal is currently ranked #5 on the welterweight chart while Khamzat is a top-three welterweight fighter following his win against Gilbert Burns. Muhammad is also on a 7-fight winning streak. Though Belal does not come off as a crowd-pleaser with his fighting style, there is no denying that he is one of the toughest fighters in the division. His resume speaks for itself. Belal has a record of 21-3 in his professional MMA career and has stacked wins against the likes of Dhiego Lima, Demian Maia, Stephen Thompson, and Vicente Luque.
Chimaev on the other hand was hinted to fight Colby Covington by the UFC boss Dana White but it is still unsure who the promotion has in mind for the superstar. Would you like to see a matchup of Belal Muhammad and Khamzat Chimaev?
