Jake Paul has again made a shocking move as the boxer has announced that his company has signed UFC fighter Bo Nickal to be a part of his new combat sports venture Betr. Paul started Betr which is a sports media content and sports betting/online casino platform last year with sports betting expert Joey Levy.

The platform primarily focuses on micro-betting which is a specific in-game prediction that doesn’t necessarily involve the overall outcome of the match. In a recent interview with Ariel Helani on the MMA Hour Show, Bo Nickal talked about his new deal with Betr. According to the fighter, his agreement with the company was to focus on making content regarding his personal life and training camps.

Partnered with them in a content capacity, like a media space,” said Nickal. “The first thing that I will be doing together is actually kind of a mini embedded series on my fight week for this upcoming fight….I wanna kind of be able to share insight into my life with the fans and with people. We are gonna be doing a kind of podcast-style show….I’m really excited about it overall.”

Last September, Bo Nickal defeated Donovan Beard at Dana White’s Contender Series 56 and is currently 3-0 as a professional MMA fighter. The three-time NCAA Division-I national wrestling champion is hailed by a lot of fans to be the future of UFC. Paul has definitely made the great move of signing someone like Nickal to his company.

Bo Nickal is expected to make his UFC middleweight debut this year and the hype around his name is massive. The American is confident about his capabilities and doesn’t think Israel Adesanya or Alex Pereira as tough challenges.

In the same interview with Ariel Helani, Nickal talked about UFC 287 in which Pereira defeated Adesanya to capture the Middleweight championship. Nickal revealed that the Brazilian is not that hard of a challenge for him. The 27-year-old also mentioned that while watching the fight he was laughing at both Izzy and Pereira as the fighter believes he can easily defeat both of them.

He said: “That’s a relatively, I would say – I’m not going to say ‘easy’ fight because he’s dangerous…I’m laughing at how they’re moving and what they’re doing and stuff. And maybe they feel that way about me when I’m hitting pads and hitting the bag and stuff. But I just feel like, if I grabbed ahold of either of those guys, it wouldn’t go well for them.”

Nickal is yet to fight his first-ever UFC bout and it’s a long way up to getting the chance to fight Izzy or Pereira. The division is stacked with highly competitive fighters and it won’t be that easy for Nickal to make his way up in the rankings.
