Jose Aldo is a former UFC champion. Karl-Anthony Towns is an NBA player for the Minnesota Timberwolves. A meet-up between the two is the last thing anyone could have predicted. Here is what happened:
Bloody Elbow posted the clip of the two sportsmen meeting. Aldo has a small MMA stature with a height of 5 foot 7 inches. Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns stands at 6 feet and 11 inches tall. Aldo told Towns that he watched him on TV. The NBA star was awestruck and addressed Jose Aldo as a “legend” throughout the clip. This is what KAT said:

Dominican-American Karl-Anthony Towns is a pro basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Karl Anthony is 28-years-old. Kat is among the best big-men shooters in the league. He has consistently shot 40% from three-point range. Kat and the Minnesota Timberwolves are currently the first seed in the Western conference.

He defeated Emmanuel Zambrano by unanimous decision. He also won a boxing match against Esteban Espíndola and had a majority decision draw against Jeremy Stephens. Aldo has competed in the super-light division and reportedly ranks #7 out of 21 within that division.
Reportedly, there were also ongoing negotiations to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in Saudi Arabia. The two had agreed to an exhibition; however, the fight never happened.
