“Will fight you at whatever weight,” Bryan Barberena takes his chances by calling out Nate Diaz for a scrap
Bryan Barberena- Nate Diaz
If Nate Diaz is open to digging deeper in the 170 lbs, Bryan Barberena is one heck of a fighter to give him the scrap he wants. Diaz, a former title challenger who’s the younger brother of MMA legend Nick Diaz, is looking for a way out of the UFC in the form of a fight which would be the last of his current UFC contract. Diaz wants to experience other forms of competition in combat for the sake of change as well as monetary reasons.
One of the primary fights Diaz wants out of the UFC is a boxing match between him and Jake Paul. Paul is an undefeated boxer who’s 5-0 with 4 knockouts and under his very own record, are wins knockout wins over MMA champions, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. But Diaz is not able to get the final fight of his UFC contract and has fully expressed his frustration in his most recent interview.

Bryan Barberena is open to fighting Nate Diaz at any weight from welterweight to heavyweight
While Diaz has said that he agreed to multiple opponents for his final fight but the UFC never reciprocated, he also said under the same breath that the only fighters deserving of fighting him are UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. But those fights are far from being a deal in itself. However, there are many fighters that are ready to give a warm exit to Diaz, Bryan Barberena is one of them.
Barberena is coming off the biggest win of his career with a TKO win over former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. There’s hardly a fight where Barberena has bored the audience, he always keeps the fans on the edge of their seats. Barberena took to Twitter to say “I keep hearing @NateDiaz209 bitching about getting a fight. I’ll fight your ass whatever weight class 170 to heavyweight. But I guarantee you come up with some excuse not to take the beating. #squareup“
What do you make of Barberena challenging Diaz for a fight? Who do you think would win it? Do you think Diaz would take the challenge? Who do you think Diaz will fight in his final UFC bout if not Barberena? Also, who do you think Diaz will fight first after he gets out of his UFC contract, still Jake Paul considering all the indications or someone else?
