“That’s someone’s child!” – UFC legend Chael Sonnen bashed after boldly claiming LeBron James’s son’s cardiac arrest was the result of EPO use
Chael Sonnen receives severe backlash from the fans for making wild accusations against Bronny James.
Chael Sonnen and Bronny James
Chael Sonnen is known to be controversial in many ways. But his most recent comment on LeBron James‘ son has thrown Sonnen into deep waters due to its questionable credibility.
Chael Sonnen has voiced his opinions regarding various sports and how the entire industry is meant to work. The former UFC star is considered very knowledgeable regarding how different businesses are carried out in sports. Sonnen himself has conducted and promoted multiple events in MMA. Like anyone following sports, he knows that many athletes from numerous sports cheat by using Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs).
But the mistake Sonnen might have potentially made at the moment is to accuse LeBron James’ son (Bronny James) of “blood doping.” Recently the NBA star’s athletic son suffered from a cardiac arrest. Now in response to such news, Sonnen tweeted, “If you monitor your EPO use, but you combine it with testosterone, you have a whole other set of problems in front of you. Hoping we can chalk this up to “lesson learned.“ Such allegations of using EPO (Erythropoietin) by Bronny have caused heated arguments among fans shocked by what seemed to be Sonnen’s baseless assumption.
It’s safe to say that making such accusations against the son of one of the greatest NBA players ever would bring a lot of attention to the maker of the statement. Let’s hope the former fighter retracts his message with an apology or substantiates such an accusation with legitimate proof.
Fans are skeptical of Chael Sonnen’s accusation of Bronny James
The blatant statements made by Chael Sonnen have triggered many supporters of the James family to question Sonnen and his tweet. Chael Sonnen has caused a lot of controversy on various topics before. Therefore, such statements from the former UFC fighter are not the most authentic or credible information. One fan tweeted, “We know the kid is on EPO for sure? It’s a bold tweet, homie. I trust you would not say it without knowledge that’s what is up here.” Check out some other reactions:
Chael Sonnen has just intrigued fans by deciding to come back to UFC broadcasting for the upcoming UFC 291 this Sunday. But this tweet seems to have disinterested fans in Sonnen’s opinions about sports.
