Chael Sonnen explains how journalist Dave Meltzer got involved in his back and forth against John Cena

In an interview with the MMA Hour for Ariel Helwani, Sonnen talks about his back and forth with Cena on Twitter where Sonnen has randomly quoted Cena’s inspiring tweets and has fired shots filled with anguish.
“It all ties to Dave Meltzer,” says Sonnen “I don’t have a big heart for John Cena, I respect a guy that respects his career enough to stick a needle in his ass every now and then, I really do. Dave Meltzer came out and was doing this whole thing about Cena’s innocence, Cena saying people who do steroids should be stuck in prison. I was so irritated at what a mark that Meltzer was for a dude that’s clearly juiced out of his mind, it just frustrated me…
He [Cena] did nothing, he’s having a great life and he’s cloaking success that made me jealous. There’s a reason jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins. I admit it, I am jealous of John Cena so I took some shots at him, what else do you want me to say,” concluded Sonnen.
Dave Meltzer is a veteran journalist who has been covering professional wrestling since 1983 and is responsible for writing articles and representing Wrestling Observer media.
