Colby Covington and Andrew Tate are two of the most controversial personalities on the internet. Both Covington and Tate are known for their outspoken personalities and views that usually land them in controversy. Covington spoke highly of Tate and his brother Tristan Tate. He recently spoke about the Tate brothers in a recent interview.

Covington appeared in an interview with MMA journalist James Lynch, where he spoke about various topics, including Tate. When asked about his opinion on Andrew Tate, Covington replied, “I think those guys are very enticed and have intellect beyond their years.” Covington continued, “People are trying to paint them in a bad light and project something on them that is not true. I have no problems, I actually look up to those guys and try and model myself like those guys.”

However, Covington is not the only UFC fighter to talk about the Tate brothers. Even UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland called Andrew Tate out for being a hypocrite and stealing money. However, Covington believed the brothers are well-spoken and conduct research well before speaking. He also believed that the public unnecessarily tainted them.

Given Tate’s contentious beliefs, some have attacked Covington for his affiliation with Tate. Covington has defended his relationship with Tate, stating that he thought Tate was decent and valued his honesty and genuineness. Fans will look forward to seeing “Top G” meet up with Colby one day.

Colby Covington hilariously impersonates Leon Edwards

Covington is among the most electrifying fighters known for his cardio and skill in the cage. However, he last fought at UFC 272 in March 2022. Since then, “Chaos” has not entered the octagon. However, Covington returns to fight UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards at UFC 296 in December 2023.

Covington is known for his trash-talking skills and ability to give nicknames to opponents and rivals. He spoke about his fight with Edwards during his interview with Lynch and hilariously impersonated the British champion. Covington referenced Edwards’s iconic catchphrase “headshot dead,” which the champion said after knocking out Kamaru Usman. Covington vowed to make Edwards pay if he tried that on him.

Predicting who will win the fight between Edwards and Covington is difficult. Both fighters are evenly matched, and they both have a lot of strengths. However, Edwards has the momentum on his side as he is on a three-fight win streak.
