“Looking Way Different”- Conor McGregor is stunned by Paddy Pimblett’s massive weight gain as the scouser visits his restaurant in Dublin
During his recent visit to Ireland, Pimblett managed to make a stop at McGregor's restaurant
Paddy Pimblett recently visited The Blackforge Inn, in Ireland, Conor McGregor’s latest business venture. The scouse superstar was accompanied by his entourage consisting of his girlfriend, coaches and even fellow teammate, Molly McCann.
Pimblett and his friends were in Ireland to celebrate himself and Molly stealing the show at UFC London. The two happened to meet the establishment’s original owner on their way in. There he told him the story of how he owned the pub for about 4 decades and how McGregor purchased it from him, gifted him a rolex and also saved the business.
Following this the crew were also given an exclusive look into a rare piece of UFC memorabilia, McGregor’s first title belt. Molly warned the establishment that she may try to steal the belt as she flexed it around the room. Shortly after they received a call from McGregor himself who thanked them for visiting his establishment.
Paddy Pimblett eats everything at Conor McGregor’s restaurant
During the video call with Pimblett, McGregor made note of how bloated he already looked a few weeks removed from his fight. “It’s crazy cause your face is way different straight away”, remarked McGregor. Only if he had seen what Pimblett ordered from his restaurant alone, he would understand why that was so.
During his visit to the Blackforge, Pimblett had a massive meal consisting of a few chicken starters, a large burger, steak and all to be topped off with chocolaty desserts. He seemed to enjoy it a lot giving the steak a rating of 9.6 with the burger receiving a close 9.1.
Pimblett is known for gaining a massive amount of weight just a few days removed from his fights. While he fights at 155, rumour has it that he can bloat upwards of 200 lbs when not in camp. He has not yet faced any weight issues in the UFC, but many veterans feel that may change very soon.
While a few veterans have called him out for this dangerous practice of getting extremely out of shape when not in camp, fighters like Donald Cerrone believe Pimblett should continue with the career path that makes him happy.
