UFC’s Megastar, Conor McGregor joined in with the masses to praise Demetrious Johnson on his incredible win over Adriano Moraes. Mighty Mouse regained the One Flyweight title after losing it back in 2021 at the hands of Moraes.
Johnson was the UFC’s inaugural Flyweight champion and defended the title 11 times before being traded for ONE Championship’s Ben Askren. The fight was a rematch of their first meeting back in 2021.
Mighty Mouse got the chance to take revenge for his loss in their first meeting. The former UFC flyweight champion was knocked out in the second round and was dethroned as the ONE flyweight champ in their first meeting. Although in the second match Demetrious put on an absolute clinic. He came out as the aggressor in the rematch. While he spent a substantial amount of time in the bottom position, the former UFC champion managed to cut open the Brazilian with an elbow from below.
Johnson took over the fight against the champion in the third round. In the fourth DJ rocked the Brazilian with a slick counter right hand and proceeded to knock his lights out with a perfect flying knee.

The bout evened the score between the two with DJ taking his revenge and the Flyweight crown from the Brazilian. After the win, Twitter exploded with praises for the former UFC champion.
Fans also reacted to the trade that UFC made with Mighty Mouse back in 2018. The UFC traded DJ for the then-undefeated wrestler Ben Askren. The long list of praises from fans and MMA elites also includes ‘The Notorious‘.
Conor is very vocal and active on his social media accounts. He usually reacts to a lot of things that happen in the MMA space. After Johnson’s incredible KO win at One on Prime 1. The Notorious one took to his Twitter to praise the former UFC and current ONE Flyweight champion.
McGregor posted a clip of the incredible flying knee KO of the One Flyweight champion and hailed Johnson for his revenge win over Moraes. He wrote, “Quite incredible yet again by the mighty mouse!”
The Mighty Mouse will definitely go down in history as the greatest to ever do it. He is one of the most successful champions in the UFC and MMA as well. The win over Moraes only shows that even after competing for so long Dj isn’t slowing down a bit.
