Conor McGregor is not a name one dismisses out of hand easily. The Irishman has attended more fights in the last three years than he has fought. Recently, he attended the Day of Reckoning Boxing PPV alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Thoroughly impressed with the fights, McGregor talked about his future.

Amidst his inactivity, the Irishman has sneered at Dana White and Co. recently. The UFC CEO has repeatedly kept MMA enthusiasts apprised of his return. Rumors were circulating that he was not returning for the historic UFC 300 card. Amidst prolonged talks, McGregor attended the ‘Day of Reckoning’ DAZN PPV for the Riyadh Boxing Season. Speaking to talkSport interviewers, here’s what he had to say:

The UFC give me something. I was supposed to be back in April, it was supposed to be December...The Mac has loads to offer! The lads in the UFC aren’t talking any! No one in the history of the fight game's ever been treated the way I'm getting treated...I'm waiting. My patience is wearing thin...

Speaking to Derek Chisora for IFL TV, McGregor also zoned in on Manny Pacquiao. In the company of Cristiano Ronaldo, Saudi Arabia’s minister of entertainment, Turki Alalshikh picked on his interest in a crossover boxing match. Without a date to return to the UFC, McGregor maintained that he was willing to entertain a crossover bout. He last fought Floyd Mayweather in a crossover boxing bout.

The fighter also talked about his final testing with USADA. He had already sent multiple samples for the DNA testing pool ahead of the USADA’s contractual exit at the end of the year. The fighter is slated to lock horns with rival Michael Chandler upon his return.

Conor McGregor last fought on July 11, 2021. The Irishman had a severe leg injury in the trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier. After a titanium insertion and subsequent recovery, though, the fighter is ready to jump back into action. McGregor has also posted details on his sparring ahead of a fateful return. He had recently mentioned his aspirations to return at UFC 300.
