The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as an ex-UFC fighter who becomes a bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys. Meanwhile, McGregor plays a character named Knox, and they confront each other in intense fight sequences. McGregor revealed that the fight scenes in the movie were very real despite having stunt performers. Gyllenhaal described his experience, mentioning that he was “terrified” of fighting McGregor on set.

White clarified no lack of communication after rumors of UFC ignoring the Irish superstar went viral on the internet. He revealed Conor had a busy schedule with the premiere of Road House and the film promotions. Hence, the UFC brass have patiently waited for him to fulfill his obligations.

Dana White revealed that once this film launched, the Irishman could get back in the gym and start training for a camp. He said McGregor has remained a great partner to the UFC, so he would like to be a good partner. Since Dana White had a positive outlook on McGregor’s return, one could believe the Irishman could return in 2024.
