UFC star Conor McGregor is making headlines once again, this time for making several claims regarding UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov. The former rivals are rekindling their feud as the UFC fighter threw some vocal jabs towards the former lightweight champion.

Taunting and playing mind games are part of the game plan for Conor McGregor. It’s been five years since Khabib and McGregor squared off in an incredible, heated fight. As time passed, there was constant chatter about a potential rematch. All of these, however, are rumors.

Despite their long feud, McGregor continues to poke fun at the former UFC fighter. He claimed in one of his now-deleted tweets that he won three rounds against the former champion. But, as usual, he mixed in his mocking tone in this tweet, which may raise the temperature once more. In the tweet, Conor McGregor went personal once more.

He tweeted, “Incorrect, uneducated dribble. I won round 1. He won round 2. I won round 3. He caught me in 4. He quit and now does crypto scams.” Not only that but when questioned about a potential rematch, he said, “Khabib is a fat b** with t**s now, lad.” Many fans have reacted amusingly to it, but Khabib will not react in the way that others anticipate.

Rematch rumors between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are always in the news

The feud between these two fighters started when Conor McGregor attacked Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bus. However, as their rivalry approaches the 5-year mark, everything is reduced to just rumors. Conor McGregor implicitly called out Khabib in a deleted tweet last year when he called him a “quitter.” Khabib retired from MMA following his father’s death, but Conor feels they still need to resolve their differences.

McGregor wrote in his deleted ‘I fight on! Your father’s plan is never complete because you quit and ran, brother. God bless. I’m still here if you want to go again. But your fear of defeat means you’ve already lost. Run from it all you want..’

They both know that it will be difficult for the UFC to schedule a rematch after what they did in the octagon. Furthermore, it’s quite improbable that Khabib will come out of retirement in the first place. Dana White, too, does not want them to fight again since they caused havoc in the octagon after the fight.
