Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao filed a lawsuit against Paradigm Sports in 2021. Pacquiao last competed in 2021 against Yordenis Ugás, losing the bout unanimously. Since then, he retired from boxing and looks ahead to his political career. However, reports emerged about the case verdict between Pacquiao and Paradigm Sports about their lawsuit. Paradigm Sports manages UFC superstar Conor McGregor as well.

According to the court verdict, paradigm Sports won the lawsuit, and Manny Pacquiao has to pay them 5.1 million dollars for the damages caused. Boxing reporter Michael Benson tweeted about the verdict on Twitter. He wrote, “Manny Pacquiao has lost his legal case with Paradigm Sports Management and has been ordered to pay the company $5.1million in damages after they sued him for breach of contract.”

Paradigm Sports manages UFC fighters like Conor McGregor, Leon Edwards, and Stephen Thompson. Pacquiao signed with the management company in February 2020. However, after accepting the terms of a 3.3 million dollar fight contract, Pacquiao negotiated contracts for himself. It is what put the management company and Pacquiao against each other.

The jury announced the verdict in favor of Paradigm Sports after they understood that Pacquiao breached the contract. Paradigm Sports will receive 5.1 million dollars as compensation for the damage caused to the company. Pacquiao has yet to respond to the verdict.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor rejoiced on Twitter after his management company Paradigm Sports, won the lawsuit against Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao signed with Paradigm Sports in February 2020. However, both parties soon clashed over a breach of contract.

A fan asked McGregor on Twitter to settle the payments inside the boxing ring. He replied to a fan, “We did settle in court, he owes me 5.1.”Another fan told McGregor that Pacquiao has the better resume, to which McGregor replied, “Ye no he’s awesome. He still owes the dough but, lad.”

McGregor has not fought since his loss against Dustin Poirier in 2021. He will fight Michael Chandler later this year. Pacquiao retired from boxing and looks forward to becoming the president of his country.
