UFC superstar Conor McGregor and his family went viral on the internet for their Halloween costumes. His mother, Margaret McGregor, however, has caused some upset on the internet for her controversial “blackface” outfit.
Conor McGregor and his family always go big when it comes to parties. The fighter has shown off his amazing lifestyle on several occasions and isn’t shy to party like the superstar he is. Recently for Halloween, McGregor and his family headed to his restaurant, Black Forge Inn, and had an absolute blast during Halloween.
While McGregor and his wife decided to go as a pilot and air hostess, respectively, the Irishman’s mother brought a lot of trouble herself with the Halloween outfit. Recently a picture of the McGregor family in costumes went viral where Margaret McGregor appeared to be wearing a costume with blackface.
Wearing blackface is very controversial and is looked at as a sign of mocking towards black people around the world. Fans are very upset about the Irishman’s mother being insensitive with her costume idea. The superstar’s mum adding skulls and “tribal” accessories to her outfit added more fuel to the fire. The Notorious One has been accused of being racist in the past.
