Dana White approached Khabib Nurmagomedov for interesting fight AGAIN and got SHUT DOWN by Dagestani

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dana White
When Khabib Nurmagomedov says he is done with fighting, it means he is DONE with fighting. UFC boss Dana White, though experiencing several failed attempts at convincing the former lightweight champ to return to fighting, somehow just won’t give up.
Recently the UFC boss revealed he proposed an interesting bout to the Dagestani and it was turned down. After this incident, Dana White felt it was important for him to put it out to the world for the last time that Khabib Nurmagomedov will never engage in professional combat sports again. The Eagle retired in the year 2020.
At UFC 254, Khabib decided to hang his gloves with a glorious record of 29-0. Despite putting several amazing fights in the octagon, the Dagestani left his fans unsatisfied with his premature retirement. Khabib was only going to get better but his retirement truly was a bummer to everyone including, Dana. Recently at the Jim Rome show on CBS Sports Radio, the UFC boss revealed an interesting story of him pitching an idea to Khabib in the year 2022.
Dana White proposed a grappling match to Khabib Nurmagomedov

Dana has tried it all and it seems like Khabib won’t budge from his decision to stay retired for anything and no amount of money would bring the legendary fighter back. Recently on the Jim Rome Show, White was asked about Khabib and the UFC boss confirmed that there is no way that Khabibn was returning to the octagon.
“Khabib’s retired. It’s weird that you asked me that question. I just reached out to him recently to see if he’s interested in something and he’s like, ‘I’m retired, brother. I’m done.’ I don’t think Khabib ever comes back,” said Dana on the show. [h/t Bloody Elbow]
Dana then revealed that it wasn’t even a real fight that he proposed and yet Khabib wouldn’t agree to come back. “It was something different. I was trying to get him to do a grappling match. He’s like, ‘I’m done, I’m retired,'” added Khabib. It is sad that we won’t see the great Nurmagomedov ever fight again but we sure will see him coaching his teammates to help them become world champions.
