In the fight week of UFC 285, the PPV Jones vs Gane coincided with the filming of Road House starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor. UFC has been providing their setting and staff to collaborate with the filming of the upcoming movie. Dana White discussed the film and its star Jake Gyllenhaal in the post-fight media appearance at UFC 285.
White joked, “I don’t think he’s been USADA tested, but he looks great,” when asked about Gyllenhaal’s physique as a Middleweight in the film. At this point, it is unknown whether the filming is over or will overlap with other PPV events further down the line. The film is scheduled for a late 2023 release.
Jake Gyllenhaal previously acted as a Boxer in the film, Southpaw, so seeing his transition as an MMA fighter will be interesting. Conor McGregor is currently very busy filming for both Road House and TUF 31. He will fight Michael Chandler later this year after their stint as TUF 31 coaches.

Dana White will now look forward to promoting very busy fight cards in March. UFC 286 will happen in London, featuring the trilogy bout between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman for the UFC Welterweight title.
Dana White says a lot of s*** went down at TUF 31 shooting
One particular question about Chandler and McGregor’s involvement as coaches in TUF 31 caught the attention of fans and media alike. White was asked about the relationship at present between Chandler and McGregor, and Dana’s answer built hype for the TUF 31.
White said, “They were very respectful to each other, and then some things started escalating that you will see on the show. Yeah. They do not like each other now. A lot of shit went down on Friday.”
As of now, it is not publicly disclosed what went down on Friday. Fans will only learn about it when UF 31 will air. So far, the tension between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor is building up, and fight fans are keeping a close eye on it.
