UFC boss, Dana White has been running the promotion for as long as three decades now. The matchmaker and President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship has been making the greatest combat sports matchups and has recently announced a power-packed half-year of fights in 2023.
Filled with controversial incidents and fun facts, Dana White’s life has been a roller coaster ride. From a small-time waiter in Las Vegas to becoming the greatest matchmaker in combat sports history, White has seen it all. In an interview with real estate tycoon, Grant Cardone, the UFC President recalled confronting a neighbor at 15 years old.
“We had a neighbor that lived behind us who knew we had a single mother with two kids and a dog. He used to f**k with us all the time. This one time we left the dog open and this guy drove up the driveway and started screaming. I remember being so scared. I was 12 years old. A few years down, this guy came up once again and started screaming at my mom,” Dana continued.
“I was sitting at the kitchen table and I heard someone. I knew it was him. I ran out back and jumped on the wall. I said you fat motherf***er. I’m not 12 anymore. Stick your fat face over this wall again and I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you,” Dana recalled the scary confrontation with his neighbor.

A closer look at Evan Elder’s cut above the eye changes Dana White’s opinion after UFC Vegas 69 stoppage
UFC boss, Dana White seemed pretty mad at the official in charge for stopping the fight between Evan Elder and Nazim Sadykhov. The fight was called off via doctor’s stoppage to due to a deep cut above the right eye of Evan Elder.
Dana White showed initial resentment and protest for the stoppage. However, upon taking a closer look at the cut, the UFC boss realized that a work hazard was prevented by the official and the doctor.
The upcoming events will include Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship and the return of ‘Bones’ after a three-year-long lay-off from the sport.
The UFC President’s upcoming matchups are scheduled up until March and will go all the way to London at UFC 286. The trilogy fight between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards will have the latter’s title on the line as Usman will look to avenge his UFC 278 KO loss.
