Dana white UFC Apex
The last UFC event took place on September 18 and It featured the main event bout between Cory Sandhagen and Song Yadong. After a short break, UFC and Dana White are all set to come back with UFC Vegas 61 on October 1st inside the UFC APEX facility. However, the big news is that UFC has denied access to any media to cover the event.
However, the media will get the chance to interview the fighters during the weigh-ins and post-fight ceremony. But this sudden decision to not allow the media raised a lot of questions.
During the recent Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) post-fight scrum, White was asked the question about the situation. White sarcastically revealed that the UFC just wanted to give media a break from their hectic schedule.
He said: “Ah, we just figured that you guys have been so busy, so we will give you guys a night off. Guys are here on Tuesdays, here on Saturdays…we needed to give you guys a break. So, you’re welcome….you guys should stay home, order a pizza and watch the fight and enjoy yourselves. “
When a media person asked if there is any big surprise that the fans will get to know on Saturday, White mentioned there are no such plans.
“There’s no big secret, I mean we are just closing on Saturday,” said the UFC president.
There might have been some big reason for this as UFC never loses any opportunity to get media coverage. Nevertheless, fight fans did share their theories about the whole situation on Twitter.

“lack of ticket sales”-Twitter reacts to Dana White banning media in UFC Apex fot UFC Vegas 61
Everybody had their own opinions regarding why UFC decided to stop the media from entering the facility on Saturday.
One user mentioned that Dana White must be lying and didn’t want the media to know that the UFC Apex is not selling enough tickets.
“He’s clearly joking, it’s cus lack of ticket sales they don’t wanna lose their consecutive sellout streak”
Another user had something similar to say as he explained that the break thing is just a distraction to save the card.
“lmao a break? all they do is film fights and ask questions no one wants to see that mid card”
There is a good chance that there must be any type of shooting that is going on inside the Apex and many users also pointed that.
“Hmmm I wonder if they’re filming a movie or something”
“They’re filming for the new “RoadHouse” reboot and it’s a “closed set”. If you guys really need to know,” wrote another user.
