Dana White and his critics have been going back and forth for over two decades now. White will not back off because there are detractors to what he does. This is also what makes him a great businessman and contributed to the immense growth of the UFC. Dana White will also make sure to troll his opposition from time to time. This time, it happened at the expense of the critics of Power Slap, especially the New York Times.

Dana White referenced Chris Rock’s new Netflix Special, Selective Outrage, to troll his detractors on Power Slapping. White said, “It is selective outrage. Power Slapping has been around for 10 years. Logan Paul and Arnold Schwarzenegger had a slap event unregulated, with no medicals, no nothing. Not one story was written. We do the right thing. We go for approval, test, and invest millions of dollars into it. We make it safe. We go through the Nevada State Athletic Commission. And everybody is outraged. I love the media. You guys have helped me build this thing into a monster over the last eight weeks. I just want to thank you all, especially the New York Times. You guys are amazing.
