UFC CEO Dana White‘s former friend Bob Menery features in Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal‘s new movie, Road House. He recently discussed his role and experience with Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal. Here is what happened:

Bob Menery made an appearance on the JAXXON Podcast. There, he talked about Conor McGregor‘s first acting role and his scene with Jake Gyllenhaal. This is what Menery said: 

Dude so funny the table read too. Conor was just like f****** nuts. He's on his yacht just sitting there and he's obviously hasn't really acted before. So he's just like getting into it so hard. Like slapping his d*** on  the table and s***. But get to the movie, and Jake and I have one really really big scene together, which is f****** cool. It's like five minutes long. It's just me and him.

Menery is an American sportscaster, comedian, and Instagram influencer. He does comedic voiceovers in sporting events and video games. He is also known for his roles in the 2016 movie Billions and the latest Road House movie. In the film, Menery plays the role of Jack. The movie is a remake of the 1989 original film. Jake Gyllenhaal plays an ex-UFC fighter who works as a bouncer at a rural bar.

Dana White and Bob Menery were initially friends through Kyle Forgeard and the Nelk Boys. Forgeard and White have a close friendship. White reportedly even gifted Menery $50,000 after being introduced to him by the Nelk Boys. However, their relationship took a sour turn. Menery and Kyle’s public fallout saw Dana White side with Kyle.

Dana White reveals Conor McGregor’s potential return to UFC

Dana White has revealed that Conor McGregor will not return to the UFC this June. Earlier this January, McGregor announced on social media that he would fight Michael Chandler. The announcement was for a fight at the International Fight Week in Las Vegas.

However, Dana White has revealed that no date was set for the UFC superstar’s fight with Chandler. White did confirm that McGregor will return to the UFC in 2024 but did not reveal an opponent or date. This will come off as a disappointment for the UFC fanbase.

Meanwhile, McGregor has not fought since losing to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Even after many updates and potential dates, he has not made a successful return to the UFC octagon. Fans cannot wait to see the Irish superstar make his much-anticipated return to the octagon.
