“Great Fight For Gastelum” Darren Till gets mocked by fans after latest booking as they sarcastically congratulate Kelvin Gastelum for securing a fight
Till was mocked by fans for constantly pulling out of fights
Darren Till has got to a point in his career where a few wins may not help correct his damaged reputation. The fighter from Liverpool who was once seen as the next champion in the UFC fell off from the top almost as quickly as he got there.
Since his move to middleweight he has only found success in one fight, in his divisional debut, against Kelvin Gastelum (Something that became ironic after) since the Gastelum fight, it has been nothing but devastating losses and constant injuries for the scouser
In many of these bouts where he pulled out it was Gastelum who replaced him, most notably against Jack Hermansson. Hence now when a Till fight is announced fans aren’t enthusiastic but are more so concerned about if the fight will even happen and who will show up if it does.
Fans React to Darren Till being booked against Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282
In a similar light, Till was recently announced as the latest addition to the UFC 282 card in December, scheduled to go against Dricus Du Plessis. However, rather than excitement, the common sentiment was mockery, making fun of till for never showing up for fights
People even started laying bets on who was most likely to replace Till when he eventually pulls out of the event. Here are the top reactions to Darren Till’s next fight being announced.
