Paddy Pimblett will fight the biggest MMA bout of his career at UFC 296 against Tony Ferguson. Days before the event, Pimblett made a stunning announcement. Pimblett and his wife, Laura Gregory are expecting twins due for May 2024. The couple revealed that the gender of the twins is female.

In a recent Instagram post, Pimblett showed an ultrasound scan picture of his unborn twins. This is what he captioned the post:

Pimblett considers the twins to be fighters even before birth. He even alluded that the twins had a face-off even inside the womb. Many fighters want their children to be fighters as well. Conor McGregor recently gave boxing lessons to his elder son. The video of the lessons went viral on social media.

At UFC 296, Pimblett will face the former interim champion, Tony Ferguson. Ferguson is on a six-fight losing streak, which is one shy of the longest losing streak record. Pimbeltt has already announced his plans. Paddy wants to fight Bobby Green at UFC 300 after defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 296. However, Bobby Green suffered a loss in his recent fight against Jalin Turner and is on medical suspension.

Colby Covington blasts Paddy Pimblett and others in the PPV he headlines

In the interview, Covington went off at Pimblett and others. This is what he said in the interview:

Look at the people that are talking about me. These are guys that have never done anything in this sport. They're absolute nobodies.... What have they done? Have they headlined pay-per-views? Have they won world championship title fights? What are their credentials? Because I'm already a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

The fans highly anticipate the press conference at UFC 296. This is mainly due to the presence of Covington, Pimblett, and Ian Garry. All three are expert trash talkers of the game. Stephen Thompson recently said that he and Shavkat Rakhmonov will be at UFC 296 just for the ride. Thompson felt his fellow main card fighters will steal the show at the press conference.
