In November 2022, UFC strawweight contender Polyana Viana tweeted that Colby Covington had allegedly asked her to finger him in the butt. However, she revealed that she had refused.

Viana and Covington were previously teammates and friends, but in 2021, Covington claimed to be in a sexual relationship with Viana. However, Viana had denied being in a relationship with Covington. In 2022 Polyana Viana went on X and wrote: 

Colby wanted me to finger him in the a*s, but I did not want to. He got upset

Viana’s tweet was in response to Colby Covington’s claims about her. Viana and Covington were reportedly good friends at one point. Polyana Viana’s upcoming fight is at UFC 297 against Gillian Robertson. The duo will feature the women’s strawweight division. The fight will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

Polyana Viana has had an active career in the strawweight division of the UFC. She boasts a professional MMA record of 13 wins and 6 losses with 0 draws. Her last fight was in 2023 where she fought Iasmin Lucindo at UFC Fight Night: Luque vs. Dos Anjos. Viana lost that fight when Lucindo submitted her using an arm triangle in the second round of the fight. It will be interesting to see if Viana makes a comeback this year starting in 2024 with the year’s first UFC event.

What did Colby Covington say about Polyana Viana?

In 2021, Colby Covington caused controversy when he claimed to be in a sexual relationship with fellow UFC fighter Polyana Viana. Covington also said he turned down a fight with Leon Edwards because he was with Viana.

Covington had said back in 2021 that he was with Viana and could not bother coming up to fight Leon Edwards on three weeks’ notice. He eventually fought Leon Edwards last year at UFC 296. It was a title fight for the welterweight title belt. Edwards won the fight via unanimous decision.

Viana’s Twitter account was briefly suspended after she tweeted about Covington’s NSFW demand. Viana later released a video poking fun at the incident. Twitter lifted Viana’s suspension following fan backlash.
