Dillon Danis is currently facing the heat of facing Logan Paul. Danis’ personal attacks on Nina Agdal have resulted in a defamation lawsuit. Agdal is the fiancee of Logan Paul, who has had high-profile relationships with other men before Paul. Danis was using the pictures of Agdal with her ex-partners on social media. UFC legend Chael Sonnen became the latest person to talk about the lawsuit.
In a recent interview with Dave Schmulenson, a.k.a The Schmo, Chael Sonnen shared his thoughts on the defamation lawsuit. He said, “I like I like the paws that’s a perfect pretty girl. she’s not my type, I’m into b**bs I’m in the a** I’m not I’m not into that She’s saying that her reputation was her, I don’t know her name I know what she looks like half-naked, I know a whole bunch of dudes names that she’s been with.” Sonnen further elaborated, “I don’t know her name, there wasn’t a reputation to damage that’s within her head and I’m not trying to be a jerk about it. but the most famous thing about her is that she’s engaged to Logan Paul what is this lawsuit about.”
Sonnen is no stranger to trash talk. Before Conor McGregor’s arrival, Sonnen used the elements of trash-talking to the fullest. So, it comes as no surprise that he defended a fellow trash-talker. However, Sonnen has never posted pictures of his opponents’ partners or wives. Some would argue that Dillon Danis took it to an extreme level with his actions against Agdal.
Chael Sonnen contended for the title thrice in the UFC. He contended for the middleweight title twice against Anderson Silva and once against Jon Jones for the light heavyweight strap. Moreover, he fought Fedor Emelianenko in Bellator after his UFC career.
Chael Sonnen’s recent interview with the Schmo at Bellator 300 Press Conference
Chael Sonnen never disappoints when he’s placed in front of a microphone. His chat with The Schmo during the Bellator 300 Press Conference was no exception. From discussing Usman Nurmagomedov and his upcoming bout with Brent Primus to delving into the highly-anticipated rematch between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira at UFC 294, Sonnen’s analytical skills were on full display.
His observations about Colby Covington highlighted the enigmatic nature of the fighter. The conversation also discussed the potential ramifications for Paddy Pimblett and Tony Ferguson in their upcoming fight at UFC 296. Sonnen’s take on Sean O’Malley‘s forthcoming title defense was also noteworthy in the interview. One of the more lighthearted moments of the interview revolved around Sonnen’s YouTube success. As always, Sonnen attributed his success to his characteristic charm.
The Schmo and Sonnen’s also bantered on the much-discussed bout between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul. Sonnen recognized it as a spectacle and an embodiment of modern combat sports entertainment. Moreover, his comments on the lawsuit favored Danis and criticized the Paul brothers for their alleged part in suing Danis.
